About this Class
Learn the true cost to operate an HVAC business. Many Dealers only have a consolidated financial statement when overhead is vastly different in departments (install, service, maintenance).
Learn how to break down each department and how to allocate overhead so you can understand where your business is making the most profit and which area is a drain on resources. You will learn why chasing revenue is sometimes a good thing and sometimes a bad thing, a good financial roadmap will guide you.
The class starts with the basics of a P&L statement and ends with an understanding of the Balance Sheet. At the end of the class, you will understand at what price you must sell your installs to make a profit first and then how much profit second. You’ll also learn at what price per hour your service call rate should be.
