Introduction to Solar

Similar to the association’s efforts last year for contractors considering the venture into solar (last year geothermal), a one-day workshop will be provided that will provide an overview of the training, products, and services included in this technology. Topics to include: (1) an introduction to the theory, history, and future of thermal and photovoltaic solar, types and design, (2) installation, (3) service and (4) maintenance. There will also be an introduction to the theory, history, and future of wind power. A panel discussion and mini trade show of related products are planned as part of the course.
